Earlier this year, Instagram changed the way the feed for locations is being queried. This broke not only Nextpost modules that rely on getting a feed based on a location (like autofollow), but even Instagram’s own apps. For some time, you didn’t see any posts based on location and needed to update your mobile.
Soon, mgp25 brought an update.
The problem is: it uses different data organization that would require a rewrite in all modules that use location (nearly all automation!).
This solution adds the new objects and functions, but translates the response into the old objects, so that you can continue using Nextpost as you’re used to.
- Works just by overwriting and adding files to your Nextpost directory
- No module needs to be changed, therefore independent of your setup
- It doesn’t matter whether you’re on the original mgp25, or have introduced Sergey’s update.
